(A) Miller Bros. Cut Co. Meriden. 7" single blade lock back with unique folding cutting device as part of rear bolster circa 1872 - 1926. Special purpose knife. Rear bolster marked "Patent applied for". Handled in hard wood, both scales are perfect with no cracks. Blade has weak snap in both open and closed direction, the lock still holds. Condition is very good. (B) Neft Safety Knife Newark, N.J. 5 - 1/4" single blade Neft safety knife circa 1920, very unusual knife. Blade is entirely inside of the handle, handle separates into two parts by sliding a button. Handled in checkered hard rubber with the words "Neft Safety Knife" in circle on both front and back scale. Both scales are prefect with no cracks. Condition is excellent plus. TN
