David F. Clark inspected U.S. Cavalry Colt single action army revolver, serial number 115334. Matching serial numbers observed on bottom of barrel at the breech, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder. D.F.C inspection marks observed on barrel, cylinder, frame, and grip butt. U.S. stamp on left side of frame. Blue with case hardened frame and hammer. 7 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .45 LC. One piece oil finished walnut grips with Captain Frank Heath cartouche on left side and David F. Clark cartouche on right side. CONDITION: Very fine overall. 85-90% original blue on barrel. 60-70% thinning blue on cylinder blending with patina. Frame is mostly a gunmetal grey patina with traces of original case color. Bore is excellent with modest abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. Screws and ejector rod are not original to the gun. -MKS-
