These were made by Remington under contract for the French Government just prior to World War I. This gun does not have any French markings, and was also made without a serial number. Well marked on the left side of the receiver with "Remington MLE 1907-15" and "RAC 1907-15/ P" on the right side of the barrel. Accompanied by a later production French leather sling. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% original finish overall. All markings are sharp and clear. Wood is fine with some slight handling marks and nice raised grain. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
