Lot consists of: 2 Colt pistols given away by the Bank of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio in 1983 for depositing $2500 and taking the guns instead of interest payments on a six-year certificate of deposit. Revolvers come in custom-fitted wood case with "Bank of Findlay" plaque, newspaper clipping explaining deal and knife from the store who sold the guns. (A) Colt "Python" double action revolver with 6" stainless ventilated rib barrel with ramp front sight with blued notched rear sight. Stainless receiver with fluted stainless 6-shot cylinder. Colt custom shop marked rosewood grips. Comes with original cardboard wood grain box. CONDITION: NIB with storage marks. Possibly unfired. (B) Colt "Diamondback" double-action revolver with 6" stainless ventilated rib barrel with ramp front sight and blued notched rear sight. Stainless frame with 6-shot stainless fluted cylinder.
