Standard 98k configuration. "243" code and 1939 date on top of the receiver. Made by Mauser-Borsigwalde. "(Eagle) M" on stock for Kriegsmarine as well as "N22048" on the left side of the takedown disc in the stock. All matching numbers on gun. Cleaning rod is unmarked. Muzzle cover is unmarked and appears to be a reproduction. Original brown leather sling. CONDITION: Retains 85% original finish overall with some light wear and handling marks. All markings are sharp and clear. Stock has some minor handling marks. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. Sling shows wear but is solid. GR
