Lot consists of: (A) French Model "MLe 16" 5 shot rifle with pot metal handled 4-cornered bayonet. Blued barrel with blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued action marked on side "St Entienne MLe M16" with polished bolt. Walnut full rifle stock with iron racking lug and ring sling swivel. Iron hardware with clip-fed magazine. CONDITION: Overall good with 70% original arsenal finish remaining. Shootable bore with visible rifling. Good mechanics. (B) French "MAS 1936" bolt action rifle made at St. Etienne from 1937 to 1952. Arsenal refinished parkerized finish on metal parts. Marked on left side of receiver "MAS MLe 1936 FH 26791". Walnut wood stock with steel furniture. CONDITION: 90% of an arsenal refinish with light handling marks. Bayonet is there but not numbered to gun. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
