France, Ca. 1880s. Pretty bisque portrait-type socket head incised 11 with red and black Jumeau checkmarks (hairline middle of forehead, 2 hairlines above and below right ear), dark brown multi-stroked eyebrows, brown paperweight eyes with large pupils and amber threaded irises, painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth, pierced ears with earrings, cork plate, human hair wig. Excellent early Jumeau body with blue stamp “Jumeau Medaille d’Or Paris” and separate ball joints at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, straight wrists, original coil neck spring. Redressed in silk organdy and lace with matching hat, vintage undies. Hairlines as noted.

Condition: (Very Good).
