Lot consists of: (A) Swedish 1867/89 Rolling Block made by Husqvarna for the Swedish Military. Originally built in 1871, arsenal rebuilt and refinished in 1892. Serial number 14565 with matching numbers on barrel, forearm, receiver assembly, hammer, breechblock, stock, and buttplate. 33" round Carl Gustaf marked barrel chambered in 8X58mm Danish Krag with unique Swedish 1867/89 rear sight and blade front. Plain 2-piece wooden stock and forearm with finger grooves and single barrel band with forearm cap. Military-style buttplate. Comes with appropriate Carl Gustaf marked 1867/89 bayonet (not numbered to the gun) and leather sling. CONDITION: Very good with metal assemblies retaining most of their original arsenal refinished blue. Action is finished in-the-white with fire blue remaining on hammer and breechblock screws. Screw slots appear a little molested but are in good shape overall. Stock and forearm are strong with no major cracks or distress. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore has an even, dark patina but has strong rifling. (B) Martini-Enfield single-shot carbine with 21" round barrel chambered in .303 British, military-type ladder rear sight, and ramped blade front with sight protector. English military proof and view markings throughout, and a double broad arrow, showing sale out of military service. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm with flat military-style buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with most of the original finish remaining and some minor freckling from storage. Stock and forearm are very good with some modest wear but appear to be strong with no major cracks or distress. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. -TN-
