Lot consists of: (A) Case straight guard M3 fighting knife with leather scabbard. The blade measures approximately 6 - 5/8" and retains almost all of the original phosphate finish. The knife is marked "CASE" on the top of the straight guard. The leather handle remains sturdy. The knife is complete with its leather scabbard that has slight blemishes but is otherwise untouched. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) WWII era unmarked theater made fighting knife with unmarked blade and leather scabbard. The blade measures approximately 6 - 3/4" and has a nice patina. There is slight pitting on the blade and some slight discoloration. The nylon handle remains sturdy and displays various scratches and small dents. The knife is complete with its pliable leather scabbard that displays wear including typical slight cracks and verdigris on metal components. CONDITION: Good (C) WWII L77 Commando style knife with trench art decorated leather scabbard. The blade measures approximately 6 - 7/8". The blade suffers from slight discoloration but is otherwise clean. The knife is marked "Western / Boulder, Colo. / Pat. No. 1,967,479 on the ricasso. The handle is wrapped in twine that has been lacquered and displays slight verdigris. The knife is complete with its leather scabbard that is decorated with period US Navy artwork. The artwork reads: "Hawaii / Pearl Harbor / Midway" followed by a fouled anchor and underneath reads "U.S.N. / Signal / Tower" There is a name on the back of the scabbard that appears to read "William Richard Lytle S.M." The scabbard is sturdy and displays almost no blemishes. CONDITION: Very good (D) WWII US Army pocket knife marked "Ulster Knife Co.", bale is marked "U.S.". The main blade measures approximately 2 - 1/2". The knife has 5 blades or tools, all of which function properly. The handle is made of bone and does not exhibit any cracks or chips.
