American, Ca. 1940s. Appears to be latex (though somewhat discolored), but using a face with dimpled cheeks and body similar to those that Dewees designed for Effanbee. She was purchased at Marshall Fields in Chicago or through their offering of Dewees Cochran portrait dolls. She has a hand-signed wrist tag. She has a brown human hair wig, painted eyes with real upper eyelashes, closed mouth. All original cotton plaid dress, undies, wool coat and hat, shoes and socks. She has a UFDC National 2000 red ribbon.
