SST. An outstanding and very rare piece of Barq's Soda Pop Advertising. A very tough to find sign in high grade, and this piece is in excellent condition, showing very good color & gloss throughout the field. There is some light surface scratching in a few of the raised letters, but overall very fair. There is some overall staining in the lighter painted areas, as well as some minor areas of paper mark checking in the field. The outer edge is also in very good condition, showing only very minimal wear at the corners, as well as one small spot of discoloration above the G of Gas. The chalkboard portion on the top and bottom are both in very good condition as well, showing excellent deep color. Overall an excellent piece of early Soda Pop & Gas & Oil advertising. Sign is Maker Marked Scioto Sign Co., Kenton, Ohio.
