DSP. An excellent example of this early sign from Socony Motor Gasoline. Side one is in excellent condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with no chipping. The outer edge shows some moderate chipping throughout the entire edge, but is not overly distracting from the bright and glossy field. Side two is also in excellent condition, showing outstanding color & gloss throughout the entire field, with only one small nick at the left edge near the flange. The outer edge shows some moderate chipping along the entire outer edge, but overall and excellent example. The flange portion of the sign is in excellent condition, showing only minimal age wear. An outstanding example of this early flange sign from Socony Gasoline.
