1922 dated SMLE training rifle with normal British proofing throughout. Right side of stock with brass disk "RAA", "IIV" and shield in stock; "IIV" looks to be hand carved. "Magazine" is hollow and intended to catch empty brass. Import marked on right side of action. Mixed numbers. Accompanied by a 1907 dated bayonet. Woven sling. CONDITION: Very good as refinished with some patina and handling marks throughout. Wood with normal bumps and bruises. Bore is very good with strong rifling. EW
