1888 vintage Third Model Winchester 1873 Lever Action Rifle, serial number 257131B. 24" round barrel chambered in .32-20 W.C.F. with full length magazine tube, semi-buckhorn rear sight, and fixed front sight with brass blade. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with original finish turning to a brown-gray patina overall with very faint traces of blue in protected areas. Stock and forearm have had finish added but appear to be strong with heavy wear, dents and dings but no major cracks or chips. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
