Pre-World War II Drilling manufactured by Simson and Company Suhl, Germany. Blued Krupp steel barrels with matted sight rib. German claw scope mounts and button activated flip up rifle sight. Coin finished engraved action with scroll and rosette pattern, cocking indicators, and side clips. Steel trigger guard with floral engraving. Double triggers with front trigger being a set trigger. Side safety with tang rifle selector button. European walnut stock with fine line checkering, horn pistol grip cap, cheekpiece and thick horn buttplate. Walnut splinter forearm with Anson and Deely latch release. Comes with sling swivel eyelets. CONDITION: 90% fading blue with some marks from operating and handling. Frame retains 90% satin finish with sharp engraving. Wood has 90% varnish with light handling marks and dings. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
