Colt Model 1873 single action frontier 6-shot revolver made in 1903. Blued 4-1/2" round barrel with blade front sight and 2-line address with ".38 W.C.F." marked on left side in front of cylinder. Smokeless powder frame with patent dates and "Rampant Colt" on left side under cylinder. Black hard rubber checkered Colt logo 2-piece grips. CONDITION: Gun has faded to a silvery-brown patina with the addition of some cold blue. Small areas of old pitting with screw slots full of corrosion. Grips are original with wear as expected with age with no cracks or repairs. Frame and trigger guard serial numbers match but serial number on butt is off by 10000. Gun has poor bore with visible rifling. Good lock-up and mechanics. Would make great display piece or restoration project. DLM
