Made with 26" armor steel barrels that have raised matted top rib and brass front bead. Barrel flats with serial number and marked "FIELD NO 3 IN CHAMBER". Splinter forend checkered in point pattern. Unengraved, case hardened action. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, and auto-safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates in a line and hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain approximately 85% toned brown-blue with some small areas of touch-up, most notably an area of pinprick pitting by right chamber. Action retains approximately 80% toned case color. Trigger guard with blue at bow, toned at tang. Forend has chipping at left side towards tip. Stock checkering lightly chased and finish mostly original with some areas of finish added for preservation. Bores are bright and shiny, mechanics are crisp. Overall, a very presentable and usable small bore L.C. Smith.

CORRECTION: After further examination of the forearm iron, the serial number has been stamped over to match the serial number on the barrel and receiver. It is our belief that this happened at the factory.
