Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine made in 1903. Blued round barrel with blade front sight and carbine elevator rear flip sight marked with Winchester address and patents and "25-20 W.C. F. ". Blued full magazine. Blued action with saddle ring and plain trigger with tang marked "Model 1892 Winchester Pat Oct 14 1884". Walnut plain carbine style buttstock with carbine style steel smooth buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: 70% original blue with areas of handling wear. Nice shadow of the saddle ring on receiver. Wood has traces of original varnish with usage marks and dings. Large scratch on right side of stock. Nice looking gun except bore is heavily pitted. Good mechanics. DLM
