Great Western Arms Company single action revolver, serial number GW2490. This gun was produced in Los Angeles sometime between 1954 and 1964. 5-1/2" round barrel chambered in .38 Special with Colt SAA style front sight with notched rear. Full coverage scroll engraving with silver inlaid depiction of a bear and silver inlay scrolls on backstrap. Checkered 2-piece imitation ivory grips. CONDITION: Excellent plus with minor handling marks and high edge wear. 2-piece imitation ivory grips do not fit well but do not show any major sign of distress. Action works correctly. Bore is bright with visible rifling. -TN-
