Smith & Wesson Model 1917 6-shot, double action Army revolver built in 1918. Blued round pinned rifled barrel with blade front sight, "S&W 45 D.A." on left and 2-line address on top of barrel and "United States Property" on bottom of barrel. Blued frame with government inspector's mark in left-hand top corner. Plain walnut 2-piece grips. Butt has lanyard loop, "No. 14511" and "US Army Model 1917" markings. CONDITION: 70% original blue with some discoloration in front of cylinder and in handled areas. 60% original varnish with light scratches and dings. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
