1921 vintage Winchester Model 1895 carbine, serial number 400471. 22" round barrel. Chambered in .30-06 Government. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Carbine style buttplate. CONDITION: Fine as refinished and modified. 95% reapplied nickel plating remaining (originally blue). Top forearm guard is missing. Original rear barrel sight replaced, barrel drilled and tapped for replaced fold-down leaf rear sight. Wood is sound, lightly sanded and refinished. Bore is bright. Action is tight.
