1862 vintage Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver, serial number 80641. 8" round barrel in .44 caliber with hammer notch rear sight and blade front. Single line Colt New York address on top of barrel. Matching serial numbers on backstrap, trigger guard, frame, barrel, cylinder arbor, and cylinder. Wedge serial number is 5935. "W" sub inspector marking on rear of backstrap close to hammer and trigger guard. "C" inspector marking on barrel and cylinder. One piece walnut grips with no markings present. CONDITION: Good as totally refinished. Grinding marks throughout from heavy polishing. Safety pins have been ground away. Grips are totally refinished. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
