"VHE Grade double barrel shotgun made by Parker Brothers in Meriden, Connecticut in 1917. Blued "Vulcan Steel" barrels with matted rib and bead front sight and ejectors. No. 1 line-engraved case hardened frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap, German silver stock shield and added solid rubber recoil pad. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% remaining blue on barrels from an old refinish. 10% original case hardening with some replaced floorplate screws. Wood has had checkering refreshed with light coat of added oil. Added recoil pad. Good bores. Gun locks up tight with opening lever in center. DLM
