Winchester Model 23 "Pigeon" Grade XTR side by side double made in Japan for Winchester from 1978 to 1987. Blued "Winchester Proof Steel" barrels with raised ventilated rib, twin bead sights, and Winchester "Win Choke" screw in chokes. Rib marked with "Winchester" and barrels with model and grade and Winchester address. Coin finish scroll engraved boxlock action with single selective trigger, ejectors and tang safety barrel selector. Walnut checkered high lustre finish round knob pistol grip stock with Winchester marked black rubber recoil pad. Walnut checkered beavertail forearm with latch release. Comes with green canvas Winchester case, original cardboard box and 5 "Win-Choke" chokes with wrench. CONDITION: Overall like new and possibly unfired with some small handling marks. Small ding in left side of forearm. Excellent bores and mechanics with case and accessories in good condition. DLM
