Parker Brothers "VH" Grade side by side shotgun built by Parker in 1901 and upgraded to "A-1 Special" Grade by Frank Pachmayr in Los Angeles, California. Blued steel "Peerless" marked barrels overstamped on rib by Pachmayr with original Parker address and matted rib. Single bead front sight with A-1 Special scroll pattern engraving at breech and muzzles. Gun has casehardened No. 2 frame with full coverage tight vignettes and sculpted barrel lugs with "Parker" name engraved at hinge on bottom of the action. Gun has extractors, gold plated double triggers and non-automatic safety. Fancy figured walnut checkered stock with A-1 Special style carved Fleur de Lis pattern behind checkered lock panels. Engraved skeleton style buttplate with gold medallion grip cap and gold stock monogram shield. Walnut "Fleur de Lis"pattern checkered splinter forearm with latch release. Comes with Pachmayr leather covered case. CONDITION: 90% of a total reblue done at upgrading with coin reapplied action finish. 90% varnish with light handling marks. Left barrel has choke that has most likely been opened up to modified. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
