Parker Brothers "DHE" Grade factory two barrel set side by side shotgun made by Parker Brothers, Meriden, Connecticut in 1920. Comes with two sets of factory barrels numbered on the forearm latch lug "1" and "2" and with recoil lug each marked with gun serial number "189350" in usual left side near water table. Matching splinter type walnut checkered forearms with serial number "189350" and numbered "1" and "2". Barrel set number "1" is "Titanic Steel" marked with Parker address, twin beads with replaced front bead on a matted rib with ejectors. Barrel is not marked on lug with frame size. Barrel set number "2" is fitted with a Parker ventilated rib with Parker address and "Parker Spec. Steel" markings. This set of barrels has ejectors and Remington proof marks. Case hardened No. 1 -1/2 frame with usual "DH" Grade dog and scroll full coverage engraving. Frame has Parker single selective trigger with automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker logo grip cap and solid red rubber recoil pad and oval silver monogram plaque. Comes with fitted canvas covered case with accessories. CONDITION: Barrel set No. "1" has 80% original blue with chokes possibly opened up to modified and improved cylinder and some light scratches and handling marks. Barrel set No. "2" has 90% of an old reblue possibly factory done by Remington. Underside of rib has four plugged holes from a rib repair. 10% case colors remaining with balance turning a silvery patina. Wood has old coat of added finish possibly done by Remington when extra set of barrels was installed with 85% remaining with some scratches and handling marks. Gun has excellent bores and mechanics. Case is in great shape. Wonderful optioned Parker. DLM
