Made with 34" matted vent rib barrel that is ported towards muzzle. Left side of barrel marked "Custom Crafted by Manifattura Armi Perazzi" and right side of barrel marked "Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca, NY". Barrel lumps are shaded scroll engraved. Large beavertail forend with finger grooves on sides is checkered in point pattern with diamond at center and has Curtis push button release at tip which is blued, forend iron is shaded scroll engraved. The full sidelock action is coin finished and masterfully engraved and sign "TOMASONI" on both locks. Locks are beautifully engraved and gold inlaid with pointers flushing quail on left, pheasants in woods scene with pointer on right, and large gold inlaid pointers on bottom in front of trigger plate, all of which is surrounded by well executed deep cut floral scroll engraving. Water table is marked with serial number, model "TMS" and engraved "Puglisi Classico". These guns were built for Puglisi Gun Emporium and sold by Jack and John Puglisi of Duluth, MN. The honey colored full capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in four point pattern with adjustable comb and adjustable but and terminates with a black "NATO" brand recoil pad. Pistol grip cap appears to be made of silver and is engraved en suite with blued screws which have gold engraved washers. Made with blued trigger, auto ejector and safety. CONDITION: Very good as field used and enjoyed. Retains more than 95% original polish blue to to the barrel. Forend is excellent, checkering has lightly thinned. Most of the coin finish remains, thought it has thinned a bit on the top tang and sideplates, and there is some minor staining noted. Stocks are excellent and retain most of their original finish with checkering beginning to thin at wrist and have scattered handling marks and light impressions and a few small chips in the finish. Bores is brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are fine, safety is frozen. All together a very nice single barrel trap engraved by one of the 20th century's top hands.
