DST. A very nice example of this sign from Valvoline Motor Oil. Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with a few areas of minor surface scratching as well as some paint loss at the bottom right edge and minimal wear at the mounting holes. The graphic and lettering are both very clean and display well. Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout the field, but does show some minor areas of surface scratching as well as some brown age staining in the white tin. The outer edge is in fair condition, showing average age wear with some heavier wear at the top two mounting holes. Overall a very nice example of this sign from Valvoline. Sign is Maker Marked A.M. & Dated 1964.
