DSP. A very rare sign from Conoco Motor Oil. Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with seven small areas of chipping in the field and in the Soldier's Cap. The outer edge is also in good condition, but does show some minimal chipping in the blue outline. The flange portion of the sign is in very good condition, showing only a couple of very minor chips. Side two is also very bright and glossy, but does shows heavier chipping at the Soldier's Head as well some minor chipping at the bottom below the Soldier's feet. The field is very clean otherwise, showing only some moderate spiderwebbing in the porcelain, as well as some minor chipping along the outer edge. A very tough to find sign in any condition, and an excellent piece of early Conoco Motor Oil Advertising.
