Colt Police Positive Target .22 W.R.F. revolver manufactured by Colt in 1927. Frame is marked with the Rampant Colt on the left side. Left side of barrel is marked "POLICE POSITIVE/ CAL .22 W.R.F.", with the Colt 2 line address across the top. Factory checkered walnut grips, with Colt medallions inlaid on either side. 5 - 7/8" barrel, with a six shot cylinder, and adjustable front and rear sights. Frame, cylinder, and barrel are factory blued, with the hammer and trigger being polished in-the-white. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their factory applied blue finish, exhibiting small areas of wear from operation, as well as some scratches and handling marks. Cylinder exhibits several concentrated areas of oxidation. Bright bore, with well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing, as well as several minor nicks and handling marks from use. -MLW-
