Marlin Model 39 Deluxe lever action rifle made in the 1920's. Blued octagon barrel with Marlin address on top barrel flat in front of sight and caliber marking on left barrel flat. Pedestal white bead front sight with fold down notched rear sight and Lyman tang sight. Case hardened takedown receiver with blued bolt, hammer, trigger, and takedown screw. Star marked tang indicating gun of the finest work. Full blued tubular magazine. Walnut feather crotched pistol grip stock with "Bullseye" and "Marlin" logo black hard rubber buttplate. Walnut forearm with blued nosecap. CONDITION: 90% original blue with 80% case colors with light handling marks. 70% varnish with light handling marks. Stock has flaw in wood causing a separation in the grain on left side of buttstock. Great bore and good mechanics. Super gun. DLM
