Manufactured circa 1927 with serial number 11248. Standard 24" blued barrel chambered for .30-06 and fitted with partridge front sight, buckhorn rear, and a vintage "Herter's Recoil Eliminator" muzzle break. Also fitted with Lyman rear peep sight. Checkered walnut stock cut for the sight. Fitted with incorrect and poorly fitted Winchester 94 serrated steel butt plate. CONDITION: Fair. Metal retains significant portions of thinning factory applied blue finish with areas worn to gray patina. Stocks worn with usage marks and dings, in addition to 2 holes left by sling swivels, now removed. Very good bright bore with strong rifling. Good mechanics. BAS
