DSP. A tough to find sign from Dixie Gasoline & Motor Oils. Side one shows good color & gloss throughout the field showing a large amount of smaller sized chips throughout the field as well as some moderate surface scratching in the gloss. Side one shows two small holes added in the top corners for hanging, and the sign should clean up nicely. Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout the field showing a large amount of chipping scattered throughout the field as well as some moderate staining and surface scratching in the gloss, which some of the staining may come off. The outer edge is in fair condition, showing just a minor amount of chipping. Although the piece shows wear it is very hard to find and still retains an excellent patina type look to it. Sign is Maker Marked Burdick.
