With less than 5 examples of this wonderful slot machine known, the American Beauty by the Paul E. Berger Mfg. Co. is a scarce gem, and this example would be a standout anywhere it sat. From the beautiful quartered oak cabinet to the brightly colored wheel and back glass, to the cast griffin feet and the cast "Man of the North" payout cups, this slot is a picturesque example of turn of the century art at its finest. "12 people can play, 2 can win premiums", the back glass reads, and this American Beauty plays. Condition shows some wear and very light use with light oxidation to some cast parts. The paper wheel shows a crease to the right side, but there is nothing to distract from the appearance and operation of this slot machine. With keys.
