This Mills Pneumatic Strength Tester has to be one of the earliest arcade machines we have ever seen. Original instruction card reads "Drop Coin in Slot and Punch Bag. The Dial Registers in Pounds the Weight of your Blow. The Bag is a Pneumatic Cushion and will not Injure your Hand, Wrist or Arm." and "Made Only by the Mills Novelty Company, Chicago". It has the original cardboard dial that measures strength from 0 to 1200 pounds. One area of dial card shows "Registered Blows of the Following Pugilists / Sharkey 925 LBS / Dixon 1012 / McGovern 1050 / Corbett 1078 / Fitzsimmons 1096 / Jeffries 1103". This impressive cast-iron machine is a completely original condition which will make it a certain focal point of any high-grade collection with an amazing surface patina. No keys.
