This is a very early and extremely rare circa 1890 cast-iron trade stimulator from the Clawson Machine Co. called the "Newark Rainbow". An amazing trade stimulator where you select the color you want to bid on, deposit your nickel, crank the handle, the dial spins and based on your color there is a payout from 2 to 1 to 15 to 1. Once the spinner starts the color bet can not be changed. This example has been refinished in a copper flash with paint added to the betting mechanism. The internal workings are original and the back door is present with key. Working and operational.
Condition: (Restored).
Item Dimensions: 21 - 1/4" x 16" x 9".
