Built circa 2003. Model 216 - RB. A nice lightweight game gun with 28" chopper lump blued steel barrels, ejectors, smooth concave game rib and round steel front bead sight. Top right side of barrel reads "GRULLA ARMAS SL EIBAR MADE IN SPAIN". Bottom of left barrel provides its importer "FIELD SPORT. TRAVERSE CITY MI 28GA 2.3/4 IN". Jeweled Barrel flats show appropriate markings. A nice cast off 14-1/2" deep honey, European walnut stock with traditional well figured grain, semi-smooth fine line checkering and open butt (Not chekered and No pad). A rounded side lock action with gas ports, set disc strikers, top lever, auto safe, jeweled water table and double triggers - front being articulated. The actions silver-grey patina is engraved with lovely Rose and scroll as well as its cast-off rolled trigger guard, long bottom strap and hardware. The guns splinter forend has an Anson styled push-button release and matching checkering. The gun comes with a plastic travel hard case and snap caps. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 98% blue with very light usage marks. Stock and forend with light signs of usage. Action is sound and clean. Case shows signs of usage and storage.
