Circa 2002 Model 209H, with blued chopper lump 28" steel barrels, 3" chambers, smooth concave game rib, round steel bead front sight, and ejectors. "GRULLA SL EIBAR MADE IN SPAIN" written on top of the left barrel. Bottom of left barrel has importers stamp reading "LION COUNTRY SUPPLY INC PORT MATILDA PA". Barrel flats and lumps are jeweled and stamped with the appropriate markings. The cherry red-brown European walnut stock has an finely checkered English straight hand grip with drop points and a checkered butt. The guns squared five-pin sidelock receiver is set with disc strikers, gas escapes, top lever, auto safe, right hand rolled trigger guard with long bottom strap and double triggers- first being articulated. Grey patina sidelocks and frame are nicely engraved with Holland & Holland Royal style engraving. The matching walnut splinter forend is nicely equipped with an Anson styled push-button release. The gun is accompanied by a makers leather compact case with cleaning tools and accessories. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 90% original blue finish with some color fading and light handling marks. Stock and forend very good, both with some handling marks. Action very good, ejectors timed well. Engraving very good. Action, trigger guard and top lever with loss of case color patina. Approximately with 30% case color remaining. Case is very good with light storage marks. Nice working side by side gun. CP
