Thick half moon front sight, V notch rear sight, left side of slide with Webley and Scott winged bullet logo, and "WEBLEY & SCOTT Ltd // LONDON & BIRMINGHAM // 9m/m AUTOMATIC PISTOL". Serial number at rear of frame, under rear cocking serrations. Grip safety. Solid serrated hammer. Hard rubber grips, lanyard loop of left side of gun with inletting on bottom of grip scale. Birmingham proof marks throughout, including top of chamber. Nickel plated magazine. CONDITION: Very good, retaining majority of factory blue with losses primarily at barrel, chamber, and straps. Areas that are "in the white" such as trigger guard and hammer have some age related staining. Some normal handling marks throughout, right side of slide has a small area of scratches. Grips are very good but left grip scale has two cracks at inlet for lanyard loop. Action works appropriately, bore has heavily softened lands and grooves with frosting throughout. Magazine is very good with lifting on nickel on baseplate and some darkness throughout. A neat example of an early self-loading pistol. EW
