Wilhelm Collath hammerless Drilling made by Wilhelm Collath in Frankfurt, Germany prior to World War II. Nitro proofed steel barrels with matted rib, blade bead front sight and rear flip rifle sight. Gun has double triggers, extractors, winged safety and usual Collath style underlever opening mechanism. Rounded scroll engraved hammerless action with sidelever rifle selector (sight pops up when rifle is selected), horn trigger guard and front trigger is a set trigger. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with 3 shot engraved bullet trap, cheekpiece, horn buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered forearm with horn opening lever. Comes with two boxes of reloaded formed brass shells (should be checked for load). CONDITION: Overall fair with barrel blue fading to brown with some light surface pitting. Action has been cleaned with a brown patina coming through. Wood has added coat of finish with checkering worn completely flat. Dark pitted shotgun barrels with shootable rifle barrel.
