Classic Civil War repeating carbine manufactured from 1863 to 1865 with 7 round tube magazine in butt for .56-56 metallic cartridges. Standard 22" blued barrel with ladder sight. Case hardened lever action marked with 3 line Spencer address with 1860 patent date. Lever components marked with "20" assembly number. Fitted with walnut 1 piece stock with saddle ring, stock sling swivel, and front barrel band. CONDITION: Very Good. Retains significance amounts of thinning blued finish with areas of gray/brown patina. Receiver exhibits traces of original case colors with majority a gray patina with some older corrosion spots. Stocks very good with a few abrasions and scratches. Good bore with strong rifling and some older corrosion spots. Mechanics good. BAS
