Dreyse cocking mechanism on left side to load a paper cartridge from the top. Bead front sight, 2 leaf rear sight, one folding, one standing. Sling eye on stud on underside of octagonal barrel. Right flat of barrel marked "15482" and "Stahl" for steel. Snabel tip forend. Right side of breech with caliber and grain information: "Cal 0,34 6 Gran Pulv". One flat with a crude incised marking, perhaps intended to be a stylized needle. Matching full or partial numbers observed on underside of action lever, trigger bow, needle carrier, and stock channel. Left side of barrel under stock with four Gothic "M"s. CONDITION: Good. Metal has even freckling throughout. Wood has a few areas of infill and repair, and it appears as another layer of varnish was added and checkering recut. Action works appropriately when operated by hand, bore is very good with even oxidation throughout. EW
