Classic Civil War repeating rifle manufactured 1863 to 1864, which feeds metallic cartridges from a 7 round magazine housed in the butt. Fitted with standard 30" blued barrel mounted with rear ladder sight and front sight blade which doubles as a bayonet lug. Case hardened lever action receiver marked with Spencer address and 1860 patent date.
