Manufactured in 1918 for World War I with "8-18," "SA" and flaming bomb marked standard Springfield barrel. Chambered for .30-06 with ladder rear sight. Blued finish bolt action. Fitted with Springfield "S" marked finger groove stock with 2 barrel bands and checkered butt plate. Complete with proper leather "DUNCAN" marked sling and 1911 dated Springfield M1905 bayonet in leather Rock Island Arsenal made scabbard. CONDITION: Good. Metal parts retain significant amounts of blued finish with areas worn to gray patina. Stock shows scattered marks from use. Good bore with strong rifling. Good mechanics. Leather items show with some minor abrasions and cracking. BAS
