Contemporary Kentucky style rifle built by "G. L. Deck" and marked on top of barrel "G+L+Deck Christianbrunn, kugelbecks num240". Browned half round half octagon rifled barrel with brass blade front sight and notched rear sight. Siler style Germanic flint lock controlled by a turned tail single trigger. Full curly maple stock with brass furniture and sliding wood patchbox. Floral incise carving behind tang and behind cheekpiece. Faceted comb flowing into a rounded brass buttplate. Comes with hardwood ramrod with brass tip. CONDITION: Overall good with light handling and usage marks. Brass parts fading to a golden yellow. Some slight surface rust around touchhole. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Good mechanics. DLM
