M-1 Carbine made by Rock-Ola Music Company Chicago, Illinois between April 1944 and May 1944. Undated "Rock-Ola" marked barrel with "P" stamp. "R" marked front sight with late style adjustable rear sight. All internal parts consistent with Rock-Ola Production with Rock-Ola late stamped style trigger group. Late style bayonet lug front swivel. Walnut low wood oval cut stock with "RSG" in sling well, crossed cannons on right and "R.R.A."(Red River Arsenal post war rebuild mark)."RMC" marked walnut 2 rivet top wood. Comes with 15 round Saginaw marked post war clip and "CMP" certificate. A rebuilt late war gun. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining with some abrasive marks on barrel. Wood has dark look with no sanding and possibly a light coat of oil added, not cut for M-2 switch. Shootable bore with ME of 2. Great mechanics with no import marks. DLM
