Lot consist of: (A) Walther "ac 44" code P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made 1944 at Walther. No visible import mark. Russian capture "X" on the left side if the frame. Serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel block are matching. "Eagle/359" Waffenamt on the left side of the frame, barrel block and on the slide. Typically Russian refinished metal components. Brown plastic grips. "P.38" marked magazine with "Eagle/359" Waffenamt on the spine. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with a few areas of wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. (B) Walther "ac 45" code P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made early 1945 at Walther. No visible import mark. Serial numbers on the frame and barrel block match, slide has been forced match. Russian capture style arsenal refinished metal components. Black plastic, serrated grips. Magazine is completely unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its arsenal re applied finish with a few areas of wear and handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Magazine is very good with light wear. Mechanically fine. JWA
