Mauser S/42 Code "G" date P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Made 1935 by Mauser. "S/42" marked toggle. No import marks found. All visible serial numbers including the magazine, are matching. Pre war German proofs on the right side of the chamber. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight. Metal has been refinished, with some of the serial numbers being restamped. Checkered wood grips. Includes correct, matching magazine with proofs on the butt. Magazine is stamped "2". CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with minor handling marks. Grips are very good with light wear on the checkering. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
