Series 2 Type 14 Nambu manufactured at the Toriimatsu Factory in January of 1944. Matching numbers include the frame, trigger guard, magazine catch, barrel & barrel extension, bolt, locking block, cocking piece, firing pin, firing pin extension, grips, and magazine. Interior of the left grip panel is carved "R. KEARNS". Transitional knurled cocking knob with grooved wood grips. Complete with period Japanese brown leather clamshell Type 14 Nambu holster, three spare firing pins, an oiler, and a spare period magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original blue finish, exhibiting some small areas of wear from cycling of the action. Mirror bore, with well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grooved wood grips exhibit few minor handling marks. Holster is in poor condition, with the hard-shell flap being separated from the holster, as well as exhibiting wear all around. This is a fine example of late war production Type 14 Nambu. -MLW-
