Lot consists of: (A) Walther "ac 42" code P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made 1942 at Walther. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, slide and barrel block. "(Eagle) / 359" Waffenamts on the frame and slide. Original military blue finish has been covered with a light coat of cold blue and serrated plastic grips, with lanyard ring. Magazine is incorrect, with "jvd" mark on the left side. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is frosted with fair rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is very good. (B) Walther "ac 43" code P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made 1943 at Walther. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, slide and barrel block. "(Eagle) / 359" Waffenamts on the frame and slide. Original military blued finish on the metal components. Brown plastic, serrated grips with lanyard ring. Magazine (not numbered) is correctly marked "P.38/ac" with a Eagle/359" Waffenamt on the spine. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light handling marks and wear. Grips are excellent. Shiny bore with crisp rifling. Magazine is excellent. Mechanically excellent. JWA
